I all of a sudden have migraines? Diagnosis and prevention help?

J Johnson asked:

Last Friday I started getting a sore throat, and by Saturday I realized I had a small cold. Just a sore throat and cough with the gross phlegm.
By Monday morning I was mostly better, but at night I started getting a headache above my left eyebrow, and whenever I leaned forward it made it worst.

I thought it was another symptom of my cold, but tuesday morning it was gone.
Around 7 that night it came back, worst than the day before.

Exact same thing happened Wednesday, and today. It leaves in the morning and comes back at night.

I talked to my mom and she said it could be migraines, or a sinus problem, due to my lack of sleep (I’ve been getting around 6 hours of sleep a night due to a senior project).

Do you guys think my migraines were triggered by my lack of sleep, or cold? I’m just worried these headaches will continue forever because it doesn’t seem like it’s going away.

Any way to relieve this pain?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
