Patrease D asked: here are a list of symptoms that i have:chronic fatigue, drowsiness, irritable bowel syndrome like bloating, cramping, and constipation, migraine headaches, some skin rashes that itch and some that don’t , but hurt like the bruises that are coming up on my body, muscle spasms, joint pain and stiffness, forgetfulness, difficulty in concentration, irritableness, depression, and some blurred vision? i know that know one can make a diagnosis on the web. but, i need to know what additives and preservatives in food can cause these symptoms so that I can refer the answers to my doctor on what steps to take so that i can help him with some diagnosis on my health? he is having difficulty in determining my health issues. there are so many similiar symptoms and diseases out there and i don’t have much time to search the web. anyway, ive never been to a doctor before about my physical health issues until about May or June of this year of 2006. They started getting worse about nearly a year ago.

just_beachy007 asked: Here’s the situation: Been 2 the doc once, going again next week, but…
> 8yr old boy
> readings on One Touch Ultra w/ new battery and strips
> when only eating less than 13 unit carbs (>195grams per day) + very active (12 hours of running, biking, swimming) he has normal readings
> when it is rainy and he can’t play, readings from 151 – 216 @ 2 hr or more after meals or from 113 – 178 fasting.
> gets migraine headaches ( I have them 2)
> gets sick to stomach for no reason
> always wants drink and normally eats often
> eating has increased, thought it was growth spurt
> not overweight at all, 4′ 6″ and about 65 – 70lbs, very lean
> has had normal (5.4) A1C on May 10th
> Not sick with cold or anything else
Some have told me that it sounded like stage 1 of Type 1, but there is no info on web unless ur already diagnosed and the “prediabetes” info is for type 2, which is overweight kids. Anyone with knowledge, plz share

Jess asked: I’ve had tons of lab work and I have seen a regular dr, endocrinologist, and a neurologist. Noone can figure out what’s wrong. Everyday after lunch I get confused, tired, and get blurred vision. They claim it isn’t my blood sugar or my thyroid (I still suspect a thyroid issue) and i was told it could be daily migraine aura without the pain. Any thoughts as to what I should check into? I’m not asking for a diagnosis-just ideas as to what I could ask my doctor.
I do stay away from refined sugars as I am sensitive to them. I am hypoglycemic but the docs say I have that under control so I don’t know what else it could be

I test my glucose after lunch and it has been normal the past couple of weeks.

J Johnson asked: Last Friday I started getting a sore throat, and by Saturday I realized I had a small cold. Just a sore throat and cough with the gross phlegm.
By Monday morning I was mostly better, but at night I started getting a headache above my left eyebrow, and whenever I leaned forward it made it worst.
I thought it was another symptom of my cold, but tuesday morning it was gone.
Around 7 that night it came back, worst than the day before.
Exact same thing happened Wednesday, and today. It leaves in the morning and comes back at night.
I talked to my mom and she said it could be migraines, or a sinus problem, due to my lack of sleep (I’ve been getting around 6 hours of sleep a night due to a senior project).
Do you guys think my migraines were triggered by my lack of sleep, or cold? I’m just worried these headaches will continue forever because it doesn’t seem like it’s going away.
Any way to relieve this pain?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
Both of you helped so much, if this doesn’t go away by Monday I’ll definitely see a doctor.
Thanks a lot guys.
