J Johnson asked: Last Friday I started getting a sore throat, and by Saturday I realized I had a small cold. Just a sore throat and cough with the gross phlegm.
By Monday morning I was mostly better, but at night I started getting a headache above my left eyebrow, and whenever I leaned forward it made it worst.
I thought it was another symptom of my cold, but tuesday morning it was gone.
Around 7 that night it came back, worst than the day before.
Exact same thing happened Wednesday, and today. It leaves in the morning and comes back at night.
I talked to my mom and she said it could be migraines, or a sinus problem, due to my lack of sleep (I’ve been getting around 6 hours of sleep a night due to a senior project).
Do you guys think my migraines were triggered by my lack of sleep, or cold? I’m just worried these headaches will continue forever because it doesn’t seem like it’s going away.
Any way to relieve this pain?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
Both of you helped so much, if this doesn’t go away by Monday I’ll definitely see a doctor.
Thanks a lot guys.

Emily asked: For the past several hours, I’ve had a pretty severe pain on the left side of my head; it’s gone from around my ear and up to my temple. It’s sort of like a pulsating pain which keeps coming and going. I’ve also had a little bit of blurry vision today (although I do have astigmatism), as well as feeling a little dizzy/off-balance. I had a CT scan in July 2007 which was clean, and I had a full neurological work up on 7/18/08. I’ve had headaches almost daily for the past year and a half, but no tumor has been found. My doctor who did the neurological work up said that I was probably suffering from migraines because my cranial nerves were intact and my CT scan was clean, so it was highly unlikely that I have a tumor. Am I suffering from a migraine or should I be concerned about a tumor and seek a second opinion? I just recently got the migraine diagnosis so I’m not quite familiar with all the symptoms or how they present themselves.
to answer Rachelle’s question, yes, I do currently have my period; however, I don’t necessarily have a migraine every time I have my menstrual cycle.
I’d also like to add that I have minor low back discomfort (although this has been a long-standing issue for which I’ve seen a chiropractor, so I’m not sure it’s related at all.)

jorilane15 asked: I’m doing a diagnosis presentation on migraine headaches and some websites say that migraine headaches are generally not life-threatening, and some are saying they are, but either is explaining why. Can anyone explain to me which is true and WHY if they are life-threatening [or can be if ...etc]
Thanks!
Websites with the answer could help too
Whatever you can help me with!
