Why we are not very sure what brings on a migraine it is thought to “run in the family” or be genetics. Some people seem to be more prone the migraines. Some people will notice an “aura” about 30 minutes before the onset of a migraine. This will be visual difference such as spots or lines and some will feel numbness or tingling in their arms before the onset. They come on suddenly and can incapacitate you. • You can talk to your doctor and get a prescribed medication to help prevent attacks.
• You can try Herbal or Holistic treatments.
• You can try ice packs or hot-packs.
• You can lie down in a dark room and try to go to sleep.
• You can try over-the-counter medication.
